ACT
Make sure you have taken and sent your scores to the colleges you are interested in.
Register and receive more information regarding the ACT here:
- Go to www.act.org.
- Click on blue Register Now button.
- Next, click on Create Account and fill in the information.
- The school code 250443 (This code will be used during the registration process).
- You will be allowed to select date and location during the registration process.
- The writing section is not required but it is recommended.

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) opens October 1 for all seniors. It is highly encouraged to complete this application even if you do not feel you qualify. It is FREE! Mississippi State Aid opens October 1: MTAG (2.5 GPA and 15 ACT), MESG State Grant (3.5 GPA and 29 ACT), HELP state aid (2.5 GPA and 20 ACT). Please visit http://msfinancialaid.org to complete the application or contact Get2College for help.
Scholarship deadlines for universities are as soon as December 1st for some Universities. Check with your recruiter or the university website to see when the deadlines are set. The scholarship application could require essay completion and/or recommendation letters. Do not wait until the last minute.
