We would like to wish everyone a very happy Spring Break. This is a much-needed time for our students and teachers to rest, recharge, and prepare for a strong finish to the 2025-2026 school year. Thank you all for your support over the past several weeks. It truly reflects the family atmosphere that makes Canton Academy such a special place.

Our students did an outstanding job last week completing Iowa Testing. This is a great way to make sure our students are on the right track, and we are very proud of our academic standards and their accomplishments. Congratulations to the following Canton Academy seniors. We are very proud of these Panthers!

  • On March 2, Bren Gore signed with Copiah-Lincoln Community College (COLIN) to continue her tennis career.
  • Kyris Oscar was named “Most Valuable Player” at the MAIS Basketball All-Star Game on February 27 and is signing with Millsaps College on March 20th to continue his basketball career.
  • Maggie Penn signed with Hinds Community College’s cheerleading program on March 5.

We have baseball, track, golf, and tennis all in full swing this semester. Please make plans to come out and support our student-athletes as they compete.

Don’t forget that our Annual Drawdown will be held on Saturday, April 11th at Butterfly Hill, with entertainment provided by the band Silver and Lace. Be sure to mark your calendars for this always-fun and exciting event!

Enrollment for the upcoming school year is now open to new families. Please complete registration as soon as possible, as several classes are beginning to fill up.Have a wonderful and restful Spring Break!
