Media Day will be Saturday, August 9 on campus.
CAPA plays a vital role in supporting our school, faculty, and most importantly, our students. We all know the saying “it takes a village to raise a child”, and to do so we hope you consider becoming a member of CAPA and volunteering your time to events or general activities or needs around the school throughout this school year.
Summer Break is coming to a close, and we hope you’ve enjoyed every minute of it! Our staff is excited and ready to welcome everyone back for what’s sure to be a great school year.
I hope everyone has been taking advantage of this beautiful spring weather. As always, we are proud to share the latest updates, achievements, and upcoming events happening here at Canton Academy. Your continued support plays a vital role in the success of our students, staff, and community, and for that, we are truly grateful.

As we begin another busy month, I wanted to take a moment to update you on the exciting happenings on campus.
As you know, January was a hard month for our school community with the tragic loss of beloved eighth grader, Jasper Branning. On behalf of all of us at CA, we want to thank everyone who has sent condolences in any way and for all the prayers. We have truly felt all the love, and Jasper would be proud of the ways his classmates and others have come together during this difficult time. Please continue to pray for the Branning family and for those who were close to Jasper.
The second term of the semester is going well following a well-deserved fall break. We hope you and your family enjoyed some down time during our first ever five-day break during October. We have had a busy fall with much more to come in the next six weeks leading up to exams. Please help us remind students to stay the course as we quickly enter the end of 2024.
