Newsletter: December 2025

This is a special time of year as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. We are also approaching Christmas break, a much-needed opportunity for our students and staff to recharge and prepare for a productive spring semester.

We would like to extend a special congratulations to Brendon Murphy, Houston Williams, and Rhett Hale on being selected for the MAIS All-Star Football team.

We also want to congratulate the following student-athletes for being selected All-MAIS Cross Country:

Girls:
Sterling Belle Brock, Lucy Glaze, Ally Jerome, Hartleigh Hollingsworth, Zola Glaze and Mary Alice Holmes

Boys:
Ian Whittington and Brayden Armstrong

A special congratulations is also extended to Ben Williams and Seth Cheatham, who were named Coaches of the Yearfor the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our athletes and coaches.

During the break, we will host our annual Christmas Basketball Tournament on December 29th and 30th. Games will begin at 9:00 a.m. on the 29th and 10:00 a.m. onthe 30th. CA will play in the evening sessions—7:00 p.m. on the 29th and 5:30 p.m. on the 30th. We encourage everyone to come out and cheer on our student-athletes.

Thank you to all who are supporting our annual Sportsman Raffle. It has been a tremendous success, and we have been excited to announce our two raffle winners each day. 

School will resume on January 5th with a half-day schedule. We will also hold our Fall Sports Awards at 8:15 in the gym that morning. Students should wear their school uniforms.
