Congratulations to Amelia Rose Cook on being selected as Canton Academy’s representative for the Madison County Youth Leadership Class of 2023-2024.

Senior Mackenzie Mercer competed on November 11 in the Southeastern Cross Country All-Stars Meet in Brandon. The meet included 63 of the best girl runners in the state. She also signed with Delta State’s cross country program this week! We are so proud of you!

Congratulations to seniors Jaheim Blackmon, Chris Hunter, Cooper Lampkin and Jessie Primer on being selected to the 2023 MSAIS All-Star football program. The 1A-2A-3A All Star game will take place at Jackson Prep on Friday, December 1 at 2:00 pm.

Congratulations to juniors Sawyer Bates and Cruz Johnson and to sophomore JD Kelly on being selected to the 2023 MSAIS Futures football program. Your Panther family is proud of you!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving break spending time with friends and family. Thank you to our CA Parents Auxiliary and all the volunteers who made our Thanksgiving feast a big success again this year. 

Congratulations to Cooper Lampkin, #5, who was selected as Msurance Player of the Week in Week 5. He had an awesome interception, was invaluable on defence and will be missed the rest of the season! Your CA family loves you and your sportsmanship in tough times.

Congratulations to 10th grader Addison Cado and 11th grader Amelia Rose Cook! Addison and Amelia will be Canton Academy’s representatives for the 2023-2024 Gluckstadt Mayor’s Youth City Council.

Congratulations to CA sophomore, Kaitlyn Warren, who was selected to represent Canton Academy in the MAIS Futures Fastpitch Softball Game on October 11. Kaitlyn, your CA family is very proud of you!

Congratulations to William Pace, #4, who was selected as Msurance Player of the Week in Week 9. William had 12 tackles & 1 pass break up on defense leading the Panthers to a shutout victory against Riverfield!

Congratulations to our elementary C.H.I.P Award winner, Hays Pepper.  Students can be nominated for this award by any member of CA staff when noticed displaying exceptional character. ‘The student receiving this award has been observed displaying COURAGE, HONORABLE behavior, INTEGRITY, and a POSITIVE attitude.
