As we begin another busy month, we wanted to take a moment to update you on the exciting happenings on campus.
Iowa Testing Update
Our students took part in the Iowa Assessments, and we are pleased to report that the testing went very well. These assessments are incredibly valuable, as they provide our staff with vital data to help improve our curriculum and teaching strategies while also making sure that our students are achieving necessary benchmarks for their respective grade levels. We look forward to using this information to continue offering a high-quality, competitive educational experience with appropriate rigor for our students.Spring Break
Spring Break is just around the corner! Spring Break will begin Friday, March 7th. We hope everyone takes time to rest and recharge. It’s important for both students and staff to have a little time off to relax and enjoy a well-deserved respite before we dive into the busy spring season.Spring Activities Are Underway!
Springtime at Canton Academy means a full activity schedule. Our baseball team has begun district play, and we are so excited to watch them take the field. Track season is also in full swing, with meets taking place every Wednesday. We are proud to host many of these events and invite you to campus to enjoy the spring weather and cheer on the Panthers. Additionally, our golf and tennis teams have several matches lined up, and we encourage everyone to come out and support these athletes. Cheer tryouts are this Thursday for our JV and varsity squads. Our baseball team travels to the “Battle of the Beach” next week for spring break, and our chess team will compete at Mississippi State University on Saturday, March 15. Good luck to all of these Panthers!Exciting News from the Elementary
