As we wrap up our third 9-weeks term, we want to remind students to study hard and finish assignments with excellence before we dismiss for spring break on Thursday, March 7.
Our 2024 accreditation visit, which took place in February, went as planned, and Canton Academy is fully accredited for the next five-year term. The accreditation team sung our praises in many areas and was very impressed with our students and staff. We appreciate all of the students and parents who assisted in answering questions of the team. We are proud of what we have going on at our great school.
We wrapped up basketball season in February, and we are happy to congratulate senior Chap Cook, who was selected to the 2024 MSAIS All Star Basketball Team. Chap has moved on to baseball season, and we would love for you to come cheer on Chap and the Panthers this season.
Along with baseball, don’t miss opportunities to watch our other spring sports, including track, tennis and golf this season. We have events in all these sports coming up next week.
Plan to attend the annual Canton Academy Soiree and Drawdown on Saturday, April 20 at Butterfly Hill. This year’s grand prize is $10,000, and there will be great food catered by Two Rivers and live music by the Luckenbach Willie Tribute Band. This is always a fun time for all of our parents, patrons and friends.
